Who We Are & What We Believe
Calvary Worship Center was originally located on Belmont Street next to Memorial Hospital in downtown Worcester under the former name of Calvary Temple, Inc. The building originally belonged to the Salvation Army and is remembered by Worcester residents because of the lettering across the side of the building that read "JESUS LOVES YOU". There are many testimonies of those who were hospitalized and found comfort and healing when they had read the sign. The building was sold to the hospital in 1993 to facilitate their new parking garage. The finances received by the Church were used to purchase a 9 ½ acre parcel of land in Holden on the Worcester border and to build a new facility with seating for up to 400. The Church opened in September of 1995 on this new site.
" Calvary is a busy place. We are excited about God and His Kingdom. We love the nations! Come and be a part of what God is doing." Pastors Joseph & Michele Ford
"We would like to take a moment to WELCOME you to Calvary. It is our desire to maintain an atmosphere in which the LORD can move. We have experienced a special outpouring of HIS presence and our prayer is for more. We are hungry for GOD and we invite HIS
presence. Our desire is that HE becomes the Senior Pastor."
